Shawna & Shawna - also known as Shawn(a) - got married on a lovely winter's day in San Diego. Winter in San Diego? Yes, it was slightly below 60 and a few drops of rain fell from the sky. BRRR! Braving this weather with us were some of our favorite people who happen to be photographers - Rico and Rachel of Studio Castillero. Together we teamed up with some other awesome vendors to brings Shawna's dream wedding to life! She is also a style blogger and even did a little feature about us! Check it out. 

On a more serious note, their video opens with Mike Farrington quoting Tim Keller - "We are more flawed than we ever dared believe, but we are more loved and accepted than we ever dared hope." Such a beautiful reflection of how God loves us, flaws a plenty, and how we are meant to love each other. These two had me welling up plenty of times, especially during the vows. The entire day was so full of great moments, from their sweet love notes to their first look, all the way to the exit. We truly felt like part of the family and it was a great honor to capture this day in their lives.
